THE LOCAL AREA

The borough of Milton Keynes is an area that is truly unique; full of contrasts and surprises, and home to Ashland.

By rail, Virgin Trains run fast, frequent services to London Euston with the capital reached within 40 minutes.

Holidaymakers and business executives will enjoy convenient travel to Luton Airport, 26 miles south east via the M1. There is also hassle-free, regular coach services that run direct to the airport

ENTERTAINMENT SPORTS AND LEISURE
The city offers extensive sports and leisure facilities to include the popular “Xscape” complex which presents Europe’s longest real snow ski slope, a 16-screen luxury multi cinema, 10-pin bowling and varied choice of shops, bars and restaurants.

The National Hockey Stadium is home to Milton Keynes own football club, the MK Dons. There are also a number of sports centres offering varied activities, with David Lloyd Centre being just a short distance away from our development.

Milton Keynes also benefits from large areas of parkland together with excellent pedestrian and cycle routes linking you to the many areas of parks, lakes and woodland throughout. For the discerning golfer there are a number of excellent golf courses within a short drive including the famous Woburn Golf Club.

The Theatre District is home to the well supported Milton Keynes Theatre - showing West End shows, plays, ballet, operas and that all important Christmas Pantomime.

The city centre is vibrant, exciting and busy with shopaholics and is approximately 3 miles away. It is one of the UK’s most renowned covered shopping centres, offering a wealth of retail outlets, leading department stores and unique specialist shops.

Additionally, there are many retail parks located within Milton Keynes – Kingston District offering one of the largest Tesco’s in Europe and many other retail and restaurant outlets.
