Upton ONE is situated on the western edge of Northampton, a thriving town with a diverse mix of fascinating history and superb modern facilities. In the heart of England, the unique character of Upton ONE is further complemented by the wealth of leisure attractions, museums, historic sites, natural open spaces and business opportunities.

Transport links from Upton ONE could not be easier: access to the M1 motorway for Birmingham, Milton Keynes and London is less than 3 miles away; the close proximity of the M40 provides a direct route to Oxford, Banbury, Leicester and Coventry; whilst the A45 offers convenient links to the local area including the town centre of Northampton; the A14 also offers a direct route to Cambridge. A fast and frequent train service furnished by Virgin and Silver Link to Euston means that commuting into London takes approximately just under the hour. Links to airports at Birmingham, Luton, Heathrow and Stansted are also very convenient offering the shuttle and long haul service.

Schools
The main primary school (4-11 year olds) is Millway Primary, located within walking distance of Upton ONE. A new primary school will be built within thedevelopment of Upton area with an anticipated opening date of Autumn 2006.
There is a choice of secondary schools which accepts 11-18 year olds within the area and in particular the nearby Campion School is the highest performing school in the Northampton Excellence Cluster which also offers a specialist language college. With a high reputation, the school forms an important part of the community and provides valuable links with local businesses through schemes such as the Young Enterprise.

Sports and Leisure
Whatever your sporting interest, there is plenty to choose from in Northampton. Sports centres, gyms and health spas offer fantastic facilities and for the outdoor pursuits, there are superb golf courses, miles of cycle routes, fishing and of course the local professional rugby, football and cricket teams to support or participate.

Shopping
Northampton town centre has a thriving weekly market as well as great choice of high street retail outlets and unique specialist shops. Additionally, within easy walking distance from Upton ONE, a new retail park offers yet more therapy for the ‘shopaholic’ with clothes stores, a large sports outlet, electrical retailers and hypermarket. For the serious shopper, one of the largest under cover shopping centres in the UK is based in Milton Keynes offering an extensive variety of retail outlets.
